New Student Meeting
Take the first step for enrollment in Individual Lessons.
Description
The New Student Meeting (formally, Initial Student Evaluation) is the first step to registration in Individual Lessons. In this complimentary session, we will learn more about your child's current skills, growth areas, and interests to ensure we create the best possible plan for their Individual Lessons. The meeting lasts about 45-60 minutes and consists of the following activities and assessment components: * Introductions and interest exploration (~10 minutes) * Phonological awareness (~5 minutes) * Decoding inventory (5-10 minutes) * Reading activity (10-15 minutes) * Writing activity (~10 minutes) We’ll also talk about their favorite books and how they feel about reading and writing to help us tailor lessons to their individual needs. After the meeting, you’ll receive a detailed Family Report highlighting your child’s strengths and areas for growth, along with personalized recommendations to support their progress. We can’t wait to meet your child!
Terms & Conditions
