The Great Pumpkin Hunt & Story Hour at Isham Family Farm

Join Vermont Literacy Network for a magical fall morning at Isham Family Farm on October 27! This free event brings the whole family together for a festive day of autumn fun. Enjoy special read alouds of fall, Halloween, and pumpkin-themed books on the farm. Bring your walking shoes and enjoy a morning of exploring the corn maze and pumpkin patch at Isham's in Williston!

Mystery Hunt in the Corn Maze During and after the story hour, the adventure continues with The Great Pumpkin Hunt! Children can enter the winding corn maze to search for hidden prizes stored inside white pumpkins. The maze holds secret treasures waiting to be discovered—an exciting scavenger hunt with plenty of fall-themed surprises! Don’t miss the chance to explore the maze and find your own special prize!

Isham Family Farm

Isham Family Farm, originally known as the Murray Homestead, was built in 1788 by some of Williston’s first settlers and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1871, Jairus David Isham purchased the 108-acre Murray Farm, and it has been passed down through generations ever since. Today, the farm is run by fifth-generation farmer Mike Isham and his wife, Helen Weston, continuing its long legacy of family farming and community events.
