In a world of texts and emails, there’s something truly special about sending and receiving real mail. Vermont Literacy Network's Snail Mail Project gives kids a fun, creative space to practice handwriting, learn the art of letter writing, and build connections with family, friends, and new pen pals.
Program Schedule:Â Fridays | July 25 - August 15, 2025 | 1:30-2:30PM
Recommended for Grades 1-5
Program Highlights
Hands-On Letter Writing: Kids will learn and practice the basics of writing and sending mail, including addressing envelopes, formatting letters, and crafting thoughtful messages. They’ll get the opportunity to write to friends, family, or even their fellow club members.
Personalized Address Book: Each child will receive their own address book where they can collect mailing addresses of loved ones, family members, and new friends.
