Vermont Literacy Network is actively seeking concept experts with a passion for literacy to host workshops for students, professionals, and community members across Vermont! Whether your expertise lies in the arts, sciences, literacy, or another field, we encourage you to bring your knowledge and enthusiasm to the VLN community. Be part of something great as we work together to create a literacy-rich Vermont!

About the Role

As a workshop leader with the Vermont Literacy Network, you’ll get the chance to share what you know and love in a literacy-rich way all over the state. We're looking for experts in all kinds of areas—like the arts, sciences, literacy, and more—who are excited about teaching and inspiring others!

Requirements
  • Experience teaching or leading groups of students and adults

  • In-depth knowledge of your subject area and the ability to convey it effectively to a broad audience

  • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering literacy in Vermont

  • Teaching license preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related preferred

To lead a professional program, you are required to have a minimum of a master's degree in education or a related field. You must be an expert in the concept you are instructing.
